swapped tranny?
so ive been replacing my clutch for the last week.
problem is that when i got a clutch for an 89 GT the plate had a different shape (the flywheel side; i believe the part that is different is called a splined hub) would not hook up to the flywheel. so after some shopping around the plate for a 92 5.0 worked. so my question is:
is there any difference between the equipment on an 89 and a 92.
maybe a different flywheel?
if so this leads me to the conclusion that this may not be the original
transmission that came with my fox. is there anyway to identify if it IS?

bump/update:
the tranny was dropped and it IS a t5. it says borg warner on the side and also has some numbers and an "R" but im still at a loss. what info do you guys need to help me?

i bought an 89 clutch kit. but it wouldn't fit. then after some investigation they plate form a 92 apparently DID fit.
how about this: could there be a difference between the WC T5 and non WC T5 pressure plate design?

the hub in the middle of the plate did not mesh with the flywheel. the kit was a LUK brand, but i checked other brands and they were exactly the same.
