Default Changing the speedo gear on T5

DIY anyone?
Converting to a 373, what gear will I need too.

23 tooth should work fine ...aren't you going to hurt you mpg??

there's no 100% correction for a 3.73 unless you change the drive gear also, but the white 23t will get you the close

You know me too well. That was a big concern, but fortunately I will be starting work in nyc this summer and I have been taking the train to commute so I drive the car maybe 400 miles a month if that. I can afford to play, especially if gas wants to stay as low as it is.

Anyone have a diy?

its cake. unbolt the 1 bolt holding the cable in, pull cable out of trans, remove clip, slide gear off, slide gear on, replace clip, insert cable, replace bolt.

I used the red 21 tooth and it worked fairly well and it's close
