Default quick cam question

looking to get a little more pep in my step and looking for that unbelivable cammed v8 sound. so my question is what is the best/biggest cam i can go with with my stock valvetrain? just looking for a quick fix for my need for speed until i can put down some big numbers lter on.

cam swap = valve spring change and a cam change on a stock motor will not be a quick fix for your need for speed but if you wish to plan for the future combo talk to this man about cams www.flowtechinduction.com

you can add a b cam it'll add that rumble but wont really affect power the factory e7 heads suck

A performance cam will move your powerband up. Good if you have upgraded heads, intake and all boltons, but bad when you have a stock motor. You'll lose so much low end torque. With that said, a mild cam would be your best bet. An E-Cam or TrickFlow stg-1 would work good. But I would wait until you do a full H/C/I upgrade. It's just too much of a hasssle just to install a cam. Trust me, I did the heads and intake, then a cam down the road. Biggest pain!
