you will need them when you get your heads but it would be a good idea to get a AFPR with a guage

the kirban is a good AFPR and you can get it with a guage on eBay for $100

because those wires have a ton of resist in them something like 300+ ohms per foot vs holleys 25 ohm per foot

i have splitfire wires on my car and they are rated 92% less resistance over stock
