id get a 3800 ..my friend just picked one up from swap meet..he says it a 2400...haha ..that converter is like a 9 if not an 8 in ..he will see 4500 plus..

80 bucks...i got a dayco in my truck like 165 bucks,, 185 for the 10 inch,,but no one as an fmx...

If you think I need more upper rpm, then couldn't I retard the cam 4*. That would move the power band higher...or would that hurt my 60' even more?

you need to get out the hole in your rpm range...if cam says 3500/6500 you need to launch at 3500..so your converter is to tight ..unless your cam is ..2500/6000 ...?

also if your foot braken off the line stalling it up ...thats sucks too you cant get it to stall to 2400 even thats when you need trans brake! try a trans brake and a 3500/3800 stall ..thats all you need ..to get you to the 12s..you got the 4.10s and slicks..
