If you will be buying a stroker kit, what difference does it make about your stock pistons? You will be throwing them away, right?

You don't wanna buy Keith Black Hypereutectic pistons they are junk. If you are getting a whole rotating assembly go ahead and pay a little more to get forged pistons.

In a N/A engine that will never see Nitrous or boost I like the KB hyper. If fitment is right they make more power because of less piston rock opposed to forged. I ran them in a 461 Cubic inch Big Block Chevys where no power adder was allowed. Because Nitrous is so temping I would go forged. The power gain is nothing the average person would ever notice. I think are great for budget builds. There is nothing bad I can say about them. You just have to realize that they arn't designed for big loads of Nitrous. I havent used a set of the KB Forged so I can't comment on those. I pretty much stay with JE pistons nowdays. I put Mahle pistons in mine this go round. They are a bit expensive though. If I were you and building and wanted to build using a good piston I'd look into a SRP by JE. Best bang for the buck in my opinion.

disclaimer...opinions vary so please realize it is just that. my opinions are based on actual use and not what I read on the internet. I never hype a product that I don't have personal first hand experiance. make informed decisions based on your needs.
