Default ok stupid question but cant remember n ready put car back together .

i finally got me a 150 tooth 50oz flexplate for my car . but i cant remember how it went on . does the wieght go again motor or other away . i know one side is like flat and other side like bows out lil . and also on fords can u bolt toque converter onto flexplate and then slide tranny in or do u have to lock converter in tranny and then put all up in there . i dont know much bout fords mainly worked on chevys . but tryin to learn more n more bout fords. alright thanks .

I would keep it on the transmission and rotate the flywheel, motor, etc...
I believe the side with the bowl is the side you want to be looking at when you bolt it on.
