should i build my spare 351 engine out of a boat or my old 302
hey guys so one of my heads are cracked on my mustang, The 302 has 230,000 KM on it so its getting a lil tired, so its either pulling it and possibly rebuilding it with a 331 or 347 and a set of good alum heads depending how much money i can spare and possibly a new cam,
Or The 351 is sitting on my floor but its out of a boat not sure if this matters? But im hoping if its got low hours i can strip it down and put a new timing chain gaskets, etc and a custom grind cam or a good shelf cam and a set of aluminum heads
what do you guys think? will the 351 bolt right in or what?
My car has 4:10s right now and i have a MSD ready to run dist, with a blaster 2 coil, And edelbrock rpm intake with a holley 670 avenger carb, If i go alot bigger stroke ill jet the carb out, and i do KIND of plan on DD this car so i will be happy with around 350 horse to the crank or a bit more which i know can be done with a good H/C/I
