how you know if its a gt40 head

how you know if its a gt40 head

hey guys i just bought a car with gt40 heads on it and i want to make sure i didnt get shammed. if neone knows casting numbers or symbols or nething at all i would appreciate it

pull the valve cover and itll say gt40
if not the under there i know it says it on the head somewhere

3 bars on the front of the head vs 4 for gt-40p's and gt-40p's have straight plugs vs angled on gt-40's

That's a GT40p head (4-bars).... GT40 heads have 3.

i know that. i was giving him an idea what to look for. obviously if those bars arent on his heads they arent gt40 anything. mjr already said that 3 bars are gt40s and 4 bars=gt40p's
