Default do lx tailpipe have different bends than gt?

i currently have a 91 LX notch and I'm trying to find out if the lx tail pipe are routed differently from the muffler to over the axle. my set up is a bbk x-pipe and flow master delta force gt cat back. the problem i'm having is interference with my mms pan hardbar, and my rearend.

The only big difference is the GTs need a turn down at the end of the tail pipe in front of the rear bumper...

You have to manipulate your tail pipe by cutting and rewelding a little to clear it right. PM Mjr, he may have a pic or two from when he had to do his.
And like already stated, gt's bend down at the ends and normally the tail pipe isn't polished or chromed because you can not see it do to the bumper cover.

lol......I know the exact problem you are having...projectresto83 is correct..........read the instructions it clearly states there are only two types of exhaust systems that clear with no mods according to MM....one is dynomax and the other was one of the flowmaster set ups, not sure which one, I have MAC 2 piece system, it took me 6 hrs to mock / mod my set up, what I ended up doing was I had to cut the pipes directly above the axle and lengthen the portion at the top and it was cut, tac weld in,moc up, pull back down and reposition constantly until I had just the correct fit and angle to the lengthened section and then final weld, I also had to cut the corners slightly on the gas tank corner flaps to clear sides of pipes at corners, and be careful I cut into the seam to far and had to replace my tank as it leaked, fortunately I had a spare herehttp://s242.photobucket.com/albums/f...t=DSC00033.jpg
not the best pic to illustrate what I did but you'll have to take it to an exhaust shop to have the exhaust modified, it specifically tells you that in the instructions, I have a shop so I did all my fab work
