Default Clutch Q

My clutch pedal has a very gritty/sticky feel and is very hard to push compress. I was hoping someone had a suggestion to why this happens. I would assume that it is the cable (at least I hope it is the cable). Any insight would help. thanks.

what is your clutch set up? anything aftermarket from the pedal all the way to the clutch or is eveything OEM? please be specific as to what you have. i see you have CF clutch so something is definitely not right if its difficult to push clutch in.

often times when the cable starts to unravel internally just before it snaps the unraveled strands catch on the encasing and cause such symptoms, try a cable first if that doesn't fix it, the TOB may be binding on a worn input shaft retainer

The clutch assembly is from centerforce. Got the flywheel machined and replaced the throwout bearing and pilot bearing. The car already had an aftermarket quadrent (steeda) and firewall adjuster (i think from bbk). The cable that was on the car snapped so i replaced it with a stock one from lrs awhile ago so hopefully the cable is it.
