Default scanner codes? possible cures

My 88 5.0 has been running rough with vibration. Ran the KOEO test.
Results= 23, 1, 31

KOEO reusults= 23, 41, 91, and 13.

Anyone with these in the past and could make some recommendations? Thanks...I want my Baby back running strong again.

I'm at the bar right now on my iPhone right now so I can't look up the meanings. If you can post the definitions for those codes I'd be happy to answer your question.

23 - Throttle Position Sensor Out Of Self Test Range (O,M,R)
41/91 - system Indicates Lean -passenger/driver side(R)
13 - RPM Not Within Self Test Lower Limit (R), DC Motor Did Not Move (O,M,R), Idle Speed Control motor or Air Bypass not controlling idle properly -generally idle too high

Snafu'ed TPS and O2 sensors, vacuum leak causing 41/91 and/or 13... suggest to verify TPS voltage range, perform base idle reset and check for vacuum leaks. LUK

Thanks Joel5.0! I just did the TPS setting to .98. I am suppose to set the meter to 12volts and then key on with engine off. Sounds correct? Best way to check to vacuum leaks?

Yea sounds like you did the tps just fine. As for vac leaks bet way is smoke machine, bit if don't have one, carb cleaner...alot LOL!!! Also make sure your o2's are seated all the way into the bung and you don't have a leak in the exhaust before the o2s. It can throw them off.

Ok. Sound good. How about knowing or testing the O2 sensors? If i take them out. How can you know if they are working well?

Setting the TPS to .9xxx vdc is a fallacy/myth... as long as it stays within .5 - 1.19 vdc closed throttle, no failure should be triggered. For the O2 sensors, either check how they work based on the test diagram posted below, or this bench test procedure video. LUK

Yea Joel. I used that write up off sbftech when I had lean codes. Turns out though I just had really bad corrotion. Once that was cleaned everything was kosher.

Dude! great video on the sensors. Very helpful. I am hoping to find that it is just an O2 sensor
