Default correct spark plug gap?

I have heard everything from .40-.54 plug gap for an 89 5.0 with gt40p heads. Does anybody know what it should really be with a stock ignition and msd coil and dist. cap with frpp 9mm wires.

dang at .54, you'd better have one heck of a ignition set up to jump that gap..lol......it is .054 to be exact
