ok i just got my mustang done about a week ago, the upper trickflow manifold makes a weird whistling noise, i thought i had a vacum leak but the noise is coming from the top on the manifold, maybe it was machined wrong???

the computer has already reset my fuel pressure and timing once, i reset the fuel pressure but havent got around the get the timing done, the engine makes a pinging/popping sound, is this caused from the timing? and yes i know i need to get a custom chip burned

if you disconnect the ground wire overnight, will your computer reset?

if you have a bbk tb a lot of people are going to tell you thats whats making the noise and how to fix it but I did the fix on the tb and it didnt fix it. I also have a trickflow manifold and I think the whistling sound lies within the upper itself. Its not gonna hurt anything its just air crossing over unsmooth parts of the intake. as far as your fuel pres. it needs to be set around 38psi w vac and 41 with it unplugged. If a ford mech did the work take it back to him and tell him to fix it!! I'm not sure about the cpu resetting with the ground unplugged

disconnect the battery for 15 mins and codes will be cleared.

my cobra intake has a similar sound coming directly from the upper near the cobra plaque.

Ok well now i feel better about the whistling problem, just gonna have to let the car sit until i get that custom chip burned, cuz i get pissed everytime i run it cuz it runs like a piece of junk not tuned
