quick wiring question

Default quick wiring question

hey guys im currently doing a 4cyl to v8 swap and im working on parting out the v8 donor car. it is a 87 GT speed density car. im planing on swaping over to MAF when i put it into the 4cyl notch that i have. would i nething off the harness in the 87 GT that i have now? also if i were to have the engine harness from the 87 would i need to take the dash out in order to get the harness from the passenger compartment

depends on how you plan to convert to maf?? some kits just tap into the sd harness via pin splicing

which is the easier route thoug. getting a new harness, MAF sensor and computer or repining the computer i have now and getting a MAF sensor

if you gotta put a harness in, you might as well just put the maf one in, I like using the maf harness , even though splicing into an sd one works, i JUST LIKE USING the harness that was intended for maf because there's less room for error to screw up the conversion if your not elec savy

and i would have to get a 89 computer and harness b/c the dash wiring is the same in the 87-89 right?
