Starting issue
so i tried to search this beforehand but couldnt find exactly what my problem is. Every once in a while, most of the time when it is cold outside, when i try to start my car it will just make a whining sound like the starter isnt engaging. usually it only does it once the it starts up. however this morning it did it about ten times before i just gave up. The starter clutch and flywheel have been replaced in the last 4 months. The only thing i can think it might be is the starter selinoid, any help is appreciated...

Where did you get the starter from? If it is poor quality it could definitely be a possibility that it is bad already. Sounds like the starter isn't getting enough voltage to crank over properly so your solenoid being bad is most likely.

u r probably right, replaced the solenoid yesterday and it did the same thing this morning, but the thing that i dont get is why it only does it when it is cold outside?
