Default gauges?

i have a feeling my factory oil pressure gauge is bad.. so looked into new ones.. but then i realized id need a gauge pod for the pillar,
i found this kit..full size pillar pod, with 3 gauges, for 125$

not the best quality gauges i know, but good price

im thinking oil pressure, air fuel ratio, and vacuum.

Look's pretty decent for the money, but i would do the water temp instead of vacum, should be alittle more helpful, and also are they electrical guages or mechanical.

I woud prefer the electrical over the mechanical since the mech. is a little "out dated" IMO,just make sure that they come with there own sending units if they are electrical.

copy and paste this: http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...h.asp&N=400441

i got part number atm-2323. you can't beat that price. they have been working great for months now, its an autometer.

i used the pod that came with it for now, but i am making a custom center console: radio will be moved to the top, heater to the bottom, and three gauges will go in the middleil pressure, water temp., and tranny temp. they are all mechanical except for the tranny temp.

i'm also gonna put my tweeters right below the gauges. its gonna look like this:

------------ radio
------------
() () () gauges

0 0 tweeters
------------
------------ HVAC

if the sending unit is bad for the oil pressure gauge its pointless to get a electrical one, i just got an auto meter phantom mechanical one and it works fine

quick question, the gauges that are in a row (3) is that the ones that you see on some stang owners dash next to a monster shift light? if you was to get those three then on the pillar pod, which would be helpful for that? (boost... ... ...)
