Default Gauge Install?

Does anyone know of some tech write ups showing how to do mech temp, oil press, and voltage installs on a 5.0? The proper way to do it of course..

Mech temp, remove the temp sensor that runs your gauge (I don't remember if its the front or rear sensor) and bolt in the probe for the gauge.

Volts, ground to the body and a wire off any power or straight to the POS on the battery.

Remove the bell sensor from the adapter and install the fitting that are with the sensor by the instructions. I recommend the mech oil pressure being outside the car somewhere.

you recomend mounting the oil pressure outside the car to advoid oil leaking into the car if it leaks? Is the oil thing towars the front on the driver side?

Yup, having a gauge leak oil inside your car isn't a pretty sight. Especially if your carpet isn't black already lol. The sending unit is right above the oil filter like mentioned^. Yours should have a big bell shaped housing that is attached to a tube that extends it out about 3-4 inches or so. Those do come apart.

if you plan to mount outside the car I'd make sure the gauges are water resistant, or use elec gauges and mount inside the car
