Thoughts on possible exhaust setup

Yeah good call, its better just to get a good set of headers the first time. A friend of mine got a cheap set for his dakota r/t and that were curroding and junk in a matter of months. Get a got set and be done with it.

The most beautiful and well made LTs for fox that I have experianced are the MAC units. Dont worry about finish, if it costs $$ then do it yourself. Just strip them down or scuff them and clean them then apply your own coatings, I did so on some nasty equal length BBK's I was given, I blasted them the best I could then air brushed them with this product BHK as shown in the last picture in the below link, and the paint is still perfect years later, even hot enough to trash my head gasket and paint still good

and that there is one of the reasons i will never move to cali there are way too many laws about what you are and arent allowed to do to your car. I love living in FL where they dont give a damn what you do to your car

Ha! afaik the only reason to run shorties is to comply with the law... in CA you are NOT ALLOWED to add or remove a cat or pre cat, you are NOT ALLOWED to change the original position or distance of the O2 sensors.
