I switched my stuff from cfi to carb.

Holley 4160 600CFM
Edelbrock performer
hei dizzy
and lokar aod kickdown kit

When I start my car it runs for a few seconds if i do get it to start and then it dies. I hooked up the dizzy to the ignition coil wire, but i think its 9 volts in run position could that cause it. Also when i connect the elec. to the windshield wiper 12v ign act. wire it gets really hot. should it be connected to start act.?

find your ignition switch wires under the dash and do it properly.
