Well if that's the case, either the wire's are crossed somewhere, your ignition switch is bad, or it's still out of adjustment.

So now here's what you should do, check the ignition switch. Disconnect the connector, and check for continuity between the w/pk pin, and the yellow one, with key on. Not the wiring on the car, but the pins on the ignition switch itself. If there's continuity, you've narrowed it down to either adjustment, or the switch itself.

okay, so i ripped apart my underhood electric and found that i had a crossed wire, so i corrected the problem and now the key work just fine. However, when i put the key to run my fuel pressure gauge reads about 20psi and when i crank the motor it will turn over but it will very soon after shut off, even if i give it gas. I don't think its the fuel pump since it still is getting pressure before i crank it, so i am really not sure why it would be shutting off afterwards now.

okay scratch that got the car to turn over and it runs. But now i have another problem... it seems like this is neverending.

Now when i rev the motor or while driving any time i hit about 3500 or 4000 rpms the motor bogs and CREEPS up in rpms after that until i shift or drop it back below that. Does anyone have any idea why it would be doing this? Thanks again for all of the help i really appreciate it.
