Default Engine oil leak

Ok. So I've recently bought this 88 lx w/ a 5.0 and 5 spd. The engine runs great. But. It leaks. I've already replaced the valve cover gaskets with new ones and the leaking stopped there but theres more. The thing about the leak is that it only leaks when the engine is off and cooling down. The guy I bought the car from said it was the oil pan gasket and that when all the oil drains to the bottom of the engine it goes above the pan and leaks. Oil pressure is great and steady when im driving. No smoke out the pipes whatsoever. When I looked the past couple of times there seems to be oil getting onto the sparkplugs. Can oil leak between the heads and the block? What seals or possible leak areas are there just below the valve cover gaskets?.

The next gasket oil would be leaking out of would be the bottom head gasket and that wouldnt be getting on your spark plugs. Are you sure replacing the valve cover gaskets stoped the leaks...If it didnt id try using some sealant other then that i dunno where else oil would be coming from and getting on your spark plugs.

you need to replace the screen that's in the block for the PVC valve I bet it's nearly stopped up cause pressure to build and causing the leaks
