I came across a 351w for a 100 bucks, my problem is that i already have a spare 302 which i was gona build up but if going big block is better and not to hard i would like to go that route any opionions on getting the 351 which i will def have to send to a machine shop and also send the heads out to. thanks

With respect to your find...what year is the engine? And is it a 351 Windsor, Cleveland, Modified?? (which is 400 btw). Big block would be 428, 429, or 460. If the 351 is older...personally, I'd re-do that 302 into a 347 stroker. Many kits available...

sorry meant to say bigger block not big block, umm as far as i know it is a windsor not modified came out of an f150 late 80s i think

slap the 302 in their while u build up the 351W. if not, build up the 351W. there is no replacement for displacement, and the 351 block that can handle more power
