Rear end rattle?

Rear end rattle?
I just picked up a 1992 GT today with 410's. I test drove it around the guys neighborhood only since he had no tags or plates. When I got home i drove it around my house and once I started getting a little speed the car would rattle a ton from the rear end. When I called the previous owner and said something he told me that the local shop by him said it was from the 410's and that the car will shake over 45 mph if you let off the throttle. They said the solution is a lower gear ratio or an aluminum driveshaft. If I am on the gas the car runs fine it's just when I let off it rattles. Any ideas?

Gear ratio is definitely not the source of rattling. An aluminum driveshaft will ONLY fix the problem if the stock driveshaft is out of balance.
There are a lot of possible reasons behind the problem. The driveshaft could be out of balance, could have worn bushings/mounts, could also have a **** poor gear installation.
You'll have to do some investigating.
