i have a 5.0 LX and it has a T5. I have a issue with it not shifting into forward gears. It does have reverse. It has a Pro 5.0 shifter and someone has told me that it maybe a shifter issue. It started by looseing 1st then 3rd then 5th then 2nd and finally 4th leaving reverse alone. What could be going on here. I am researching this for my Brother cause he is home trying to fix this while im in Iraq. Please advise on what to look for or even maybe a good transmission to replace it with. i have 1500 to spend on the trans.

It HAD all the gears at one with and now you can't get into any?

first check the cable and make sure it is adjusted properly/ moving the fork arm down on the tranny.

It started with looseing 1st gear then over the next couple weeks i started to loose the other forward gears. I still have reverse. The shifter lever wont move into any forward gear at all. I cant even force it into gear.

just stop now before you seriously FUBAR the trans....

take it out and replace it. T5's are cheap
