Default SN95 5.0 --- Help ? I Think?

hey guys.
my names Joe, reside in warren, Michigan.
and new to the forum.

Heres what I have

i bought a 1995 mustang.
it was origianlly a v6 but the guy did a 5.0 swap.
completley stock besides CAI, and 2.5inch exhaust from the headers (flowmaster 40 series)
The guy told me origianally it was "stock"
but me and my friends disagree.

i have raced, and beat

Srt-4 stage 2 - got it by 2 cars
Srt-4 stock - got it by 2 cars
1991 Fox Body 5.0 - Runs 14.5 in a quarter - got it by like 1.5 Cars
1988 fox body convertible - Trick flow heads, f303 cam, trick flow intake, shift kit
2002 gt - 3 cars
2003 gt - 2 cars

im so confused on my car.
it should be really slow lol compared to these.
im going to the track tommorow.
so i get to see what my car actually runs.

ideas we think are done

MILD MILD Cam
Gears - but its a 7.5 rear end
Ported Intake

give me some ideas you might think be done to my car

thanks.
joe

Welcome to the forums! Are you heading to Ubly tomorrow by chance? A bunch of us are going there with Alternative Auto. We are meeting at the shop about 8:30-9am if your interested.

First of all anything can happen on the street...we all know that! Does the car have a really choppy idle, indicating a cam? Unless some of those drivers were horrible, i would guess some kind of head and/or cam work has been done.

Were the 02-03 gt's stock? Because that makes a huge difference. Mine with full bolt ons, and gears only, is a dead even race with my buddy's HCI 95 Cobra with 3.73's, and 300 rwhp.

im going to lapeer track
its not a great track but i already payed and got a rain check.
so im going tommorow to see how i do.

idk.
in the morning when i first start it is sounds a little choppy but then as it warms up no so much, just sounds like exhaust hollow sounds.

as far as i know the 02-03 mustangs just had exhaust.
but again, my car is supposed to be stock, but for some reason i dont think so.

Tell us what you run and we'll have a much better idea on mods. Saying what cars you beat doesn't really mean anything.
