Hey all i have a 86 mustang, when i start it up it cranks for a while or when it does start it revs high for a breif sec to 3000 then drops to 1000, I have put in new tps, iac, and cleaned the tb and everything out so if anyone has any ideas what's going on i would apreaciate it thanks

mine does it to but not always, think its normal

to 3k?? hmm sounds abnormal to me.. maybe 1200-1500 not 3,000....

sounds like its loading up on gas while its cranking, check your fuel pressure.
