Default Burning Rich

I replaced some bent push rods yesterday and now my car is running very rich. While removing the upper intake I also notice that the PVC valve was missing so I replace it. Also realize I bought this car used. I think the previous owner had the hose just stuck into the screen through the rubber groment. I checked gasket , vacuum leaks, timing etc...Can not figure this one out. Is the PVC added now my problem?
