If you're going to put a blower on, that would be a good idea. Keep the compression low for maximum effect from the blower.

i am thinking about ordering this kit http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FEM-MHP173-000/ , im looking into how much its gona cost to get it bored out i mite do it not sure. but i think im gona need my block surfaced decked and i was wondering how much that would raise the compression to. also with those pistons would it be bad for a daily driver what are side affects. if i get that those pistons its gna be a na motor, if i keep stock pistons it wil be built for forced indtroduction. also where can i get a girdle kit?? im thinken if i dnt bore it keep stock pistons and if i bore it go for the kit and raise the compresion.

it does nothing, it's a complete waste of money , the 5.0 roller block is what it is weak for high hp and rpm applications, a valley girdle will not stop main cap walk or chatter, all any girdle will do is keep the two split halves from going all over the track....hopefully

True story. Just save your money... if the blocks gonna crack its gonna crack.

The "ZOMGZ LEVEL 10000000 D.S.S GIRDLE BLOCK" is a crock of ****, a stock block is a stock block is a stock block.
