Started the tuning
Ok so I got a tweecer RT what, 2 years ago almost? I bought a PLX M-200 wideband O2 sensor/guage a fair while ago too, but it's been a bit daunting to think about learning how it all works.
Well tonight I installed the wideband O2 and I wired the narrowband output on the M-200 to the stock o2 signal wire and it seems to be working well.
So far what I've seen is that at idle I'm running usually between 14.8 and 15:1, cruising its at about 15.2:1, and WOT it drops all the way to 11.5:1 but it's all over between 11 and 13.5:1.
I may richen the idle up a tad and try to figure out how to lean the WOT settings up. I wish I had somebody local here who's done this before who could help me learn it. What the hell though, if I can get this down I may have a job out at the local dyno shop - they've had some other ford guys asking them about the Tweecer.
PS - my buddy and I took it for a spin and about 10 minutes into the drive we're both sniffing and wondering what's on fire. To me it smelled like burned clutch or semi-truck brakes, to him it smelled a bit like coolant or an electrical fire. We pulled into Pizza Hut and I popped the hood and oops, I forgot to trim a zip tie and it had melted the tail off on a primary tube. I'll have to chip it off tomorrow if I take the car out.

RE: Started the tuning
Well I've only put 5k miles on it in the last two summers so I'm fairly patient with it, I've got nothing but time.
Well, really I'd like it to be done, but now that I'm actually getting into it I think I'm going to enjoy making it work. Who knows, maybe it'll get me a job.
