Default best intake for 331 on 94gt

I have a CHP built 331 all forged internals. Want everything i can get out of it. What would be the best intake for a non aspirated setup. Was gonna go with edelbrock perf. rpm II, but it pretty much limits you to a 70mm throttle body and i dont know if that is big enough.

70 is big enough. that's what I've got. i've also got a systemax II and like it. besides that it hits my tall valve covers lol. I expect close to 400 with this newer tune i've got.

personally I have a 70 on my 306, I 'd feed the stroker more air, which means I'd go larger than 70

I ordered a 1" TFS spacer because I knew that I would run into that as well. It clears by maybe a half inch. What valve covers do you use? Mine are 3.9" Ford Racing.

I run a Holley SystemaxII and the opening is 70mm. I am in the market for a new tb but the one I use now is 70mm on my 306

it was dyno tuned once, but the tune i have atm is a mailorder cause the other one took a **** when i swapped in my 5sp for some reason. i didn't run out of air or fuel. I sapose the bigger tb could be holding me back power wise. who knows. it makes enough for me, and besides, when i go n20 i'll be maxing out my block anyways.

i've got the summit tall valve covers and a 3/8 spacer so it would fit under the stock hood. the intake sits right on the oil cap of the passenger side cover. I'm going to put on some stock size ford racing covers with a thick gasket and see how they fit.

70mm is really not "too big", if you tune for the better flowing "window" through the whole increasing RPM's range (aka acceleration). Just need to tune & test. Many 302/306 documented setup cases have benefited performance and driveability wise with 75mm - 90mm TB setups.... while also getting 25+ MPG on their DD role..... manual and auto transmission, MAF and speed density EEC's.
