ok so i have a 90 gt and i just got the original fog lights but before i got the ar i guess he had on after market fog lights so insted of just having one plug theres 3 different wires for them does anyone know ware i can get the original wires for the fog lights?

FYI the stock fog light wiring on the 5.0 mustangs was notoriously under spec - they have a tendency to melt wiring harnesses.

I'm planning to install original fog lights in my 89 5.0 GT sometime in the next couple of weeks - I have a good idea of the way I'm going to wire it up.

The basic idea is that you want to connect the fog lights to a relay inside the engine compartment, and connect the switch in the dash to work the relay. You could probably use the stock wiring in the harness for this (if it's not already bad). I plan to try that first so as to avoid having to traverse the firewall.

PM me if you want details on how I'm going to wire mine... I'm an electrical engineer so I can draw up a schema for it to make it clearer.
