Default need some code help

hey everyone, i am pulling codes on my car because i did not pass emissions, my car is supposly running lean. the code i got is 4112941294 i think 4 is an id code which means nothing, the first one is a brake and the 129 is my code, which is (manifold absolute pressure sensor or mass air sensor-insufficient signal value during Dynamic response test/engine run self-test) what dose that mean? i replaced the map sensor wich was $80 wasted because i got the same code.[:@]

Default RE: need some code help

do you have a vaccum line cracked or off?

a few weeks ago i got codes in truck P0171 and P0174 they were listed as extremely lean by 25%

so i checked my vaccum lines good*
checked my MAF to see if it was dirty, good*
checked my air tube to my TB, it had came off so i reconnected it no more code

so i would check for vaccum leak, check to see if your FR is good, see if your MAF is dirty [dirt will get trapped on the sensor from an overd oiled K&N]

hope that helps some
