Help...Spider Gears!
I converted from a 28 spline to a 31 spline axel. I bought new spider gears for the 31 spline and I'm having trouble getting in the two small spider gears. How do you install the spider gears?Also,would some of the shims have to be taken out maybe for easier fit?

once proper clutch pack shim has been installed then you should be able to roll the gears in, however, I can't remember if the 28 spline carrier can be converted to a 31 spline unit?? I thought the 31 spline carrier was larger??
