Default strut tower bar made to fit a trickflow intake?

My strut tower bar isnt clearing my trickflow intake, i know this is a common problem with this setup so if someone can explain how they fabricated the strut tower bar to make it fit all will be greatly appericated! also i have a 94 GT and will the hood clear after the tower bar is made to fit?

thanks
greg

I recently owned a 94 Gt with a Trickflow TrackHeat Intake and I had no strut bar, couldn't find an aftermarket one for it though. May have to fabricate one.

Cut it on each side like, from the strut mount go a foot in. cut the brackets on the strut off. Re weld the strut brackets to the new short pipe at a higher angle. Then get some new tubing and weld the difference in. Grind, sand, paint and repeat. I dont see why that wouldn't work?

Thats why I said fabricate. And the hood might not close if you put the strut to high, it has a good chance of hitting.

Or could you make it longer from front to back instead of going over the intake go around it?

The MM version strut tower brace should clear your intake bc it isnt a triangle shape. Here's a website of the brace:
