Default Need Clutch help

Can someone tell me if my 94 GT Stang has an adjustable clutch? It's starting to slip and i've ordered a King Cobra clutch and I was wondering if this one was adjustable so I could prolong the life of it until my King Cobra arrived. Pics would be great if you guys had some if it is adjustable. Also what does everyone think of the King Cobra? I bought it because it was affordable and would hold up to 350hp which I don't plan on getting to for quite some time. I really appreciate your input guys!

Ok, doing my clutch this weekend (starting tomorrow) can anyone tell me what to look out for or to take precaution with? Anyone got a detailed install with pics? lol. Any advice would be great as this is the first clutch i've ever installed.

My advice is go buy a chilton repair manual, it's indespensable. And also, get you an adjustable clutch cable if you want to adjust the clutch. you can adjust them on the firewall. Theyre good to have. The stock won't adjust. The clutch is'nt hard to swap but it always helps to have a manual, or download internet instructions. Also, it's easy to strip out the flywheel bolts (connecting clutch to flywheel) be careful with those.

So I found an online video of a T-56 clutch replacement for an 03 Cobra, I would guess it would be about the same. Anyone know what the minor differences are between my 94 GT T-5 and the 03 T-56?

So I'm nearly done with the install but i'll be damned if the pilot bearing and driveshaft didn't give me the MOST trouble. We ended up having to break the pilot bearing out after the grease and slide-hammer didn't work. And also, why the h*ll are the driveshaft bolts SOOO tight? Anyway now I have another question. When I completely press the clutch to the floor there is a poping sound coming from either the firewall or the clutch quad. What would be the most likely culprit? Anyone ever have this issue before? I must say for the price, i'd still rather do my own clutch replacement but DAM* it was a tough job, even with newly bought air tools

Check your linkage to the fork for the poppingfrom firewall to the fork. hopefully with somebody pushing clutch while you look.

Could be the fork isn't on the TOB correctly.
