Question unexplained miss

i have a 94 mustang that used to be a 6 cyl but i swapped it for a 5.0 HO. it sounds good at and idle but when i get into it a little there is a bad miss. the whole car kinda studders. i replaced the spark plug wired, the distributor cap and the distributor rotor. does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong and what i should do to fix it? thanks

did you check your plugs, they could be bad. make sure none of your wires are criss crossed and laying on top of each other, that can sometimes allow the spark to jump wires. also how many miles are on this block?

a couple of the wires are overlaping eachother but the stock ones werent and i had the same problem. i dunno how many miles are on the block, and if theres a lot, is that a possiblity as to what could be wrong?

sounds like a crossed wire

are you sure it is wired correctly?

how much fuel pressure does it have?

have you tried running codes?

do you have an extra distributor you could try?

so a crossed wire could only effect acceleration? and if so, does anyone have or know where i could get a diagram?

it may idle fine but, it will have a dead miss when you hit the gas

it will do this in park while bumping the gas
