If you want to upgrade your gt40's to use the stage 1 trick flow cam use TFS-2500100 - Designed to upgrade factory Ford 289-351W cast iron cylinder heads. Kit also includes valve seals and valve spring shims.

You can use the stock springs with the stage 1 cam, but if you must you can normally find the springs suggested for use on the cam sheet!

those should work fine if you are worried about your stock springs!

please do not ever tell people to use stock springs.

the stock springs barley work for the stock cam. Mine where holding crap pressure and caused valve float, which made a nasty nitrous backfire.


once again, ALWAYS upgrade your springs with ANY cam. The company that makes the springs should have guide lines on how to pick there springs.
