Default RE: MAF

Stock vs Stock a speed density car is faster than a mass-air car. Speed density will get a little moody when you start to modify them. Usually the idle is the first thing to suffer in a SD car.

Mass-air calculates off of air flow entering the engine. where as with speed density your MAP sensor reads intake vacuume. You can modify a SD car, but you have to stay away from big cams that will cause a loss of vacuume, and superchargers because the MAP sensor can only read vacuume and not positive boost. The car would run but not to it's full potential.

It all depends on what you have done to your car and what plans you have for the car.
