Adder just hit it. Throwout bearing has welded itself to bearing retainer shaft.

Well, i bolted the tranny back to the belhousing and took the bellhousing off with it, came right off. It was the throwout bearing fused to the thing! thanks everyone for the help!!!

Another question I have, If I plan on putting 360ish to the wheels one day, and I have 275/50/15 mickey thompson drag radials on the back which would be smarter?

1. Promotion transmission (rated to 370rwhp) 875 dollars

2. heavy duty rebuild kit (rated to 330 ft/lbs torque) 250 dollars

I would love to rebuild it, because I can do it myself and it would be way cheaper.

Any suggestions?
