I have to start my 1991 Mustang 4 to 5 times in the morning. What can I do to fix?

I have to start my car 5 or so times each morning before it stays running. It will start and die about three seconds later. It is usally start the first time after that for the rest of the day. It is a 1991 5.0 LX and it has Cam. Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

Fix the vacuum leak or fix the timing. If you give it gas does it stay running after starting? I'm betting yes.

Yeah, it will stay running when I rev it up. I am guessing the timing is set to its original setting of 10. Would 14 be a good place to start? I only run 93 Octane in it.

Check all over the engine for vac leaks, check the hose that runs from the underside of the upper intake plenum to the backside of the lower plenum and run codes before playing with timing. If it is timed at 10 it shouldn't cause this problem.

Bro you only need to run 87-89 octane in that car you don't have enough done to it or high enough compression for 93, your just wasting your money.

What's a KOER test? I have to do this on mine also but only after i drive it for a while. Say i go to the store and turn it off, then when i go to leave it idles at 800RPM but cuts out and revs up like 2 or 3 times then dies?
