Angry Damn Visor Mirror Lights killing my battery!

Anyone else have the problem here that their visor mirror's courtesy lights don't shut off when the high tech velcro cover is pushed into place? I'm thinking of just pulling the bulbs.

I don't have any on my cheap LX
If you don't use them, then I would just pull the bulbs. I think I have used my visor mirror maybe 5 times in 22 years of owning the car. I would use the movable map light if I need to use the mirrors.
