Glove box lock cylinder turns with key but will not unlock latch. I have removed hinge screws underneath but latch is still engaged and will not allow door to unlatch and open.

Any ideas?

Hey man that might seems trival to some people (glove box turns with key) but I feel your pain brother.. It's your car and you want everything to work.. I would just take out the old cylinder go to the local dealership and get a new one. I think that you can code the new cylinder to your key. Or just call a lock smith, just my two cents..

i own 2 fox's and have removed the cylinders in both because of the same problem, this must be a common problem as the ashtray lids and armrest latch problems are.
