I have been having big problems with my car. While driving, the CEL will turn on and the car will run horrible. Like struggle to drive, and will be very jerky.

When the light turns off, the car drives fine.


So i want to run a KOEO test to pull memory codes to find wtf has been going on.

I have the wires set up right, but when i turn the key the light ( 12v test light in my case ) stays lit. I tried a KOER test ( pointless though because it runs fine until the CEL turns on )

Why wont the test run in both cases? I soldier the one terminal because it fell out of the plastic connector.

I have it all set up right i just cant get codes!

Help!



Red wire is what i soldied into the old prong that came out of the big black plastic piece.

Yes the soldiers are good, and yes its the right wire.
