Default cranks but won't fire

Hello to all!I have a 94 GT 5 speed. New to the site was referred by a friend-Feeling a lil defeated.. started the car fired right up, I have some on going egr issues but never gave me any probs, drove the car about a mile when as I pulled from a red light got about 25 feet its started to sputter and choke as if no fuel or loss of juice, the batt's good the terminals r clean, fuel pump cycles, fuel is at the rail, changed the distributor cap checked the gap in the plugs , checked the coil spark, checked all fuses, good starter & grounds. I believe that’s all I’ve checked and yet it just cranks but it wont fire..ne one got some incite or something I’m not seeing plz help......

compression, fuel, spark....need those three and you're missing one or more.

have you checked compression? have you checked to verify spark? have you checked to verify fuel? if so which tests did you preform to give us an idea where you're at...

any recent modifications or just one day she went kaput?

it could be either two things, fuel or spark. Here is an issue i had recently. My car would crank and it would start and then randomly die. The first thing i checked for was spark after my car died and wouldn't start. I thought TFI. I got the TFI module tested and it was crap, replaced it and now my car runs good.

Yup had the same problem a month ago...sorry if i would of noticed this earlier i would of posted.. My stang would start run fine.. then left a stop light it started sputtin and diein. then came out of it.. Then the next day drove down to work and right as i pulled it in just died out of the blue. It just crank over and over and not fire...Checked the fuel, thought maybe my guage was off since i put my new white face gauges in but come to find out it was dead accurate. After a few test i popped off the distributor cap and appeared normal then i glanced again and noticed the metal tab on the rotor under the cap broke off. Replaced the rotor popped rite off..
