Default GT40P heads

Are GT40P heads any good? How do they compare to the Edelbrock Performer heads. Someone has them for sale for 575 bucks. They say they have stage 1 porting. Are they worh it? Are they better than stock heads? Are they aluminum or cast? I don't know much about heads so someone educate me please.

for that price if they are ported go for them. but they do suck. and they did acomparison in MMFF. and youll need new headers. those are the heads on the explorers and mountaineers. and they are cast.

price you could save your dough and get what you want...gt40 x aluminum

air flow research ,trick flow twisted wedge, roush or edelbrock... all would

be a better choice
