Over Heating,Bogging down
You said it is overheating also now did it blow the head gaskets already? when does it overheat driving down the road or sitting still? is it pushing coolant out of the overflow putting lots of pressure on the cooling hoses?
The bogging happens at high RPM..... it feels like its being held back when im goinng thru the gears....no drop down in heat range, did not touch the spark plugs yet....the pulley on t he s/c is for 6-8 psi.....
Maybe the bigger injector theory sounds right, it might me bottle neckinng since a larger fuel pump was installed....

close the plug gap up to around .030 and drop down 2 heat ranges if you cant find 2 heat ranges go with at least one range colder.see if that helps also but you should move up in the inj. size like said and ditch the FMU. I would start at around 8 degrees with the timing and if you hear any sound of spark knock lift and back it down a few more but 8 should be close and you really should be looking to a wide band. when you get better with the car you can try sneaking the timing up. I have a guy who's car I work on and he is at 10 with the spout in and he runs 14 psi but it has a intercooler and this is with gt40p heads and a old E cam it runs 7.00s in the 1/8 mile in a full weight LX hatch car with no tune other then what I can do with a wrench and timing light
Thats exactly what im running, GT40 P Heads with GT40 Headers, E 303 Cam, Cobra upper and lower, 1.6 Rockers, Alum Radiator, Elec. Fan, 373 Gear, and now Paxton SN2000 Blower.... about the blown gasket.... i see oil dripping from behind the upper intake, so i may have a blown gasket....
Thanks uedlose, i will try everything you said.
