yes my car has no wires to the starter but the one from the soinoid on the fender apron the black wire goes to the big bolt on the starter but no wire to the small post on the starter where does this wire come from and where does it need to be connected at in the car

you should have a small wire on the starter solenoid the goes into the car...that is the only one of real consequence...just get a 10gauge wire and some ring terminals and jumper between the big post and the small post. when you turn the key life will happen. electricity moves so quickly the starter solenoid will fire...we do it on all out race cars and never have a problem

Sounds like your old OE starter that had only the 4 gauge black cable going from the starter to the solenoid has been converted to the newer 92-93 mini starter where you need an additional 12 gauge wire going from the starter to the solenoid .
