sorry... its gotta come out. took me about 6 hours for the complete job start to finish. maybe could do it a little quicker but its a major PITA. i was gonna leave mine disconnected but a rainstorm fogged up my windshield and i decided i needed the defrost.

yep that will have to come out and your center console too. its really not that bad just time consuming.

DON'T forget the flow restrictor! I did and therefore I will be doing mine again tomorrow! Cannot wait......

Note flow restrictor is inside feed hose to heater core. Actually keeps the gurgling sound out of car interior that comes from water circulation. Slows volume of coolant too.
