cable clutch adjust?

My 88 GT gring the first and revers gears but when im stoped, but as soon as I start moving and stop again and put the first gear or the rivers gear it doesnt gring

It is becuase it need adjust in the clutch cable? Or a sincro damaged?

yeah i would dump the plastic junk too if you still have it and get an aluminum quad and new cable
